Breed Of The Champion

There are also those who see roosters fighting as a traditional activity and part of their culture. Fighting has been known for over 3000 years! It was enjoyed in ancient Egypt, Greece, and Rome. It was also very popular in medieval Europe. In many countries this activity was considered noble and often the rooster fights became a national sport. Also, scientists think that if the fighting is outlawed completely several breeds of chicken may become extinct. Therefore, they believe that chicken fighting should be allowed and considered a sport that people enjoy.

We have a Grey that is multi-winners but very cruel. It picks at different parts of your limbs, hands and shuffles at your feet when handled. You cannot touch that during moulting stage. The handler pushes and drop hard in the cockpit so that it will lost the fight, yet wins. We later infused that cock with gentler ones, to improve the mood and attitude of progenies, however, there will always be cruel ones among them. As a handler, you must recognized these breeds. Anyway, winning counts.

  9. darkflirt says:

Ad libitum feeding may remedy the problem, however, if the cause is in type of breed you raised, usually the cruel ones. Then look for gentle breeds that are winning lines. To name a few of the many breeds, The hatches, kelso, lemon 84, sweater, roundhead and combinations that are winning lines and gentle. Cruel ones and other old breeds that are muli-winners are infused by these new breeds. Usually, good chicks are produce due to the concept of HYBRID VIGOR. Fought well in d cockpit and gentle.

  10. darkflirt says:

Cannibalism to poultry raised in a very dense area, when they are too populated in the pen, lack of water supply, you forgot to fed the chicks regularly, it is also in the genes or genetic make-up of some fighting cock breeds. Fighting cocks are fought in the pit, or we have here in Iloilo Ciy 5000, Philippines as ” bulangan”, tagalog, ” sabongan.” Arena, colliseum. But the cocks made to fight with slasher blade. It is indeed cannibalism when they are fighting as chicks. DCP, MAgr.

  12. Koloaboy96756 says:

    You’re a bad chicken owner.

  13. Koloaboy96756 says:

And? What about the people who raise chickens to produce eggs? That’s far worst than fighting birds. Its wrong right? but they still do it. Get over it, Fighting roosters is the second most spectated sport in the world. Soccer is first. When are you gonna learn that THEY ARE BORN to fight.

  15. PredatorHuntress666 says:

LMFAO, like I would tell you where I live.

“i bet you are a lil kid that is like 10.”

See, thats funny, because the last time I looked at our comments, its seems that not only do I have better grammar than you, but I dont talk like a little 13 year old girl or a back country hick either.

  16. SunOhz says:

i told you. where do you live? i bet you are a lil kid that is like 10.

  17. PredatorHuntress666 says:

Oh really, just how is that? I’d love to know.

  18. PredatorHuntress666 says:

I am a responsible chicken owner as well. My girls have a large run and a huge coop. They have CONSTANT access to scratch and layer crumbles during the wintertime, layer crumbles only in summer. They have 2 7 gallon waterers that are constantly full and clean. They get treats every day. But guess what? There is a cannibalism problem in my flock, even though they get to free range for 4-5 hours a day. They have killed 2 already.

  19. SunOhz says:

no they did not eat each other they killed the other by fighting. i am a responsible chicken owner i feed my birds. and none are weak they have clean water and they have a 6 by 6 cage to each bird and they are happy

  20. SunOhz says:

    it is a sport

  21. PredatorHuntress666 says:

I didnt say everybody did. I know three people in my area that breed cocks for fighting. Two of them practically starve their birds, saying it “Keeps them lean”.

No, I cant possibly expect myself to understand why you cruel fucks would want to do this to these amazing animals for your own goddamned entertainment. Its sick, and definately NOT a sport.

  22. PredatorHuntress666 says:

They havent, I have seen it you dumb fuck. I live in an area were there is practically no punishment for cockfighting. It is in their nature, and YOU CAN MAKE IT WORSE.

Your week old chicks “fighting to the death” is called CANNIBALISM. You want to know how I know? Because it has happened to me. You can ask any RESPONSIBLE chicken owner/breeder and they will tell you the same thing.

  23. SunOhz says:

WOW the ASPCA AND HSUS has told you shit that is not true we do not teach them how to fight i had some 1 week old chicks fight to the death yes it is in there nature to fight they love it,

  24. SunOhz says:

i own rooster and i do fight them i well never under feed them. i well never mistreat them they love to fight and i will stand behind my rooster 100%

  25. movance says:

This was a great film and is great respect to the sport. All those who disagree you have probably never seen a chicken farm before. At about 6 months of age these roosters will kill thier own brothers if you dont pen them up. To PredatorHuntress666, people do not starve the chickens to keep them lean. If you were a boxer and did not eat healthy how would you do against the man thats had his 3 for the day. You probably dont even understand that concept.
